WHY SHOULD I UPDATE MY CHARTS?

An update is any change in your boating area that can affect navigation. It can be as common as moving a buoy or a light change, as unpredictable as a contour or shoreline change, or as complicated and dangerous as changes to channels, commercial shipping lanes or restricted areas.
